"I had the opportunity to play on a grand piano for the first time ever in a small empty concert hall. I sat down and "Final Day" was written there and then, recorded on the spot to my iPhone. Again, a moment not to be lost. I hope you will enjoy this un-rehearsed piece in its original pure format. A few days later I found myself in a music store and sat at an electronic keyboard and re-wrote "Final Day" with a twist and "End of Day" was born. The canvas textures can be many for me but the brush, only one, and the beauty of music is that a composition is never really final until I stop playing it. It can be endlessly modified to create new and beautiful compositions all the time. So the brush has been put away on these two compositions with no mixing or mastering, just as is, and I hope you enjoy hearing them in their pure format as I did creating them". -John-

The musical highway never seems to end for John and he is pleased to bring us another wonderful keyboard composition. A break from the guitar compositions that he is currently working on. For John, it's a rest stop for a moment on the path to collect ones thoughts. We hope you will enjoy this beautiful single. On this CD single there is a special added track which was recorded on the same night as the single. It was an improv moment where the "speak to me" track was played back over the headsets and I played along with it for the very first time. Moments like that come in the blink of an eye, and its best not to blink as it could be gone in an instant, and so it was recorded. Many thanks to Tom at Cave1 for capturing the moment on track. It could well be for me "the answer" to speak to me. I hope you will enjoy it as I did at that moment.  -John-

The journey continues for John, and he has brought us another link in that path well known to him. His signature style reveals itself more and more with every step taken on this journey and we are pleased to announce this latest release from his musical compositions. The fire burns inside us to succeed in whatever we do. Some stand back from the flame that burns and others make a stand and hold dear what binds them to that flame. This single is dedicated to the memory of my father Patrick, who's dream was to live out his retirement in the village where he grew up in Ireland. He held on to that dream and lived out the rest of his days in peace with his dream in the palm of his hand.  -John-

John has again completed another single as part of a journey with his musical compositions.  One of his very own favorites, "Struggle Within" encompasses John's guitar style in so many ways as he becomes one with the composition and guitar, effortlessly winding his way through each chord structure.  This composition began as a simple chord melody and John worked it into the composition it has become, by adding, defining & redefining the chord structures that have become his signature style today.  "We strive every day to manage our lives as best we can, to guide not only ourselves but others around us in a path that will lead us to life’s accomplishments and our own inner peace.  That inner peace is often broken far too easily, a peace we all strive for in our lives, a peace some will never see or reach.  The day to day struggle is always a challenge, but the Struggle Within is always the hardest.  I hope you will follow on this journey with me and hope you always enjoy the path taken."   -John-

John's latest single is a continuation of what he has begun with his guitar compositions & continues with his very defining style. This composition in itself, is complete with no background instrumental works or rhythms to obscure its purity. Every day someone sheds a tear for this world, yet they are unseen and unheard. It can only begin with one, and one will make a stand. This single is the first of many guitar tracks which will be recorded by John. This work shows a very defining style that John has created when playing the guitar. No background instrumental works or rhythms were added to this piece as John wanted to let the composition be itself. Created from the heart and written with love John brings you this latest single. We hope you will enjoy this composition, the first of many more to come in a journey for john. This piece was originally created for John's mother and is now dedicated in honor of her memory. "I have finished what i began writing for you. I am sorry you never got to hear it, but I know you will forever hear it now. I wrote it for you and it will always be yours. This single from John, is a reflection of a time past and a world far away. The composition is a step back into a life that was very different and its melodic flow will help you understand that no matter how far away that world can be, it will always be close to your heart. Out of the many compositions that John has written to date, he took time to get this one just right and it really shows. As he puts it himself  “it is truly an emotional piece for me”. The composition actually comprises of two different and very unique compositions in their own right. John has combined them seamlessly to produce this magical and unique melody.
